EQUIPMENT

On the equipment side, the Gravel Bike is at the crossroads of road bike and mountain bike.

The geometry of the frame is rather classic and approaches the road bike.

However, the bottom bracket is slightly raised and shortened cranks to overcome obstacles more easily.

The wheel wells at the fork and rear stays are expanded to accommodate studded tires with a cross section up to 40 mm.

At the level of the brakes, one often finds powerful and reassuring disc brakes.

The Gravel is a new discipline and a very few of you are equipped, we ALLOW MOUNTAIN BIKES ON THE COURSES.

Regulation of bicycles:

To ensure your own safety as well as that of other participants, it is strictly forbidden to participate in the events with:

- an electric bike or electric pedal assistance. (Except E-Trophy 120)

- a recumbent bike (on the stomach or on the back)

- a bike with hanger extender

- a bike for the time trial

- a bike not suitable for the practice of Gravel

The organization strongly discourages the use of full and solid wheels because the profile of the course does not lend itself to it!
